Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in figure skating coaching across multiple levels
- Deliver structured on-ice training for skaters at beginner, intermediate, advanced, and elite levels
- Coach group sessions and private lessons for both children and adults
- Develop and periodize training plans focused on technical progression and performance development
- Support skater development in jump technique, spins, skating skills, performance quality, and competition readiness
- Provide off-ice training, including jump technique, rotation mechanics, core stability, strength, and conditioning
- Choreograph competitive and showcase programs in line with skaters’ technical level and goals
- Ensure adherence to ISU rules and competition regulations
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive training environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in figure skating coaching across multiple levels
- Strong knowledge of ISU rules, judging criteria, and competition structure
- Experience in choreography and program construction
- Solid understanding of off-ice jump technique, rotation mechanics, and strength training for skaters

- Strong communication and coaching skills with athletes of all ages
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
- Availability to work 6 days per week during the season (September through June) Minimum availability of 20 hours per week
Skating School Coordinator/Figure Skating Coach St2 & up (Seasonal Position)
We are seeking an organized, motivated, and experienced Skating School Coordinator & Figure Skating Coach to join our skating school for the season from September through June.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who combines strong organizational abilities with a passion for coaching and athlete development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate skating school schedules, classes, and coaching assignments
- Deliver on-ice instruction for recreational and development skaters, including children and adults
- Coach group classes and private lessons in a safe, structured, and motivating environment
- Support skater development in fundamental skating skills, technique, and confidence
- Assist in organizing skating events, tests, showcases, and competitions
- Maintain communication with skaters, parents, coaches, and staff
- Support registration, attendance tracking, and general program administration
- Collaborate closely with the coaching team to ensure high program standards and athlete progression
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in figure skating coaching and skating school coordination
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with children, adults, parents, and coaching staff
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach
- Strong communication and coaching skills with athletes of all ages
- Knowledge of skating school operations and program structure
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and motivating training environment
- Availability to work 3 days per week during the season (September through June) Minimum availability of 6 hours per week
