How to Join the Competitive Skating Group
Our Competitive Skating Group has a limited number of available places. To join the group, skaters must meet the required criteria and demonstrate the commitment and skills needed for competitive figure skating.
Skaters can join the Competitive Skating Group in the following ways:
- Invitation by a coach: Skaters may be noticed by one of our coaches and invited to join the Competitive Skating Group.
- Progression from the skating school: Skaters can advance from our skating school into the Competitive Skating Group when they are ready.
- Transfer from another club or coach: Skaters joining JollyIceSports from another club or coach may be considered for placement in the group.
All new competitive skaters start with a 2-week trial period. During this period, we assess whether the group is the right fit and whether the skater meets the expectations of the program. After the trial period, participation in the Competitive Skating Group can be confirmed.
